Actually Starting My Blog

A lot of people want to make a website but don’t know where to start or they get stuck.

I am absolutely one of those people to the point where I have a bunch of markdown/org files that are basically blog posts ready to go yet I have done nothing.

An ongoing struggle I have is wanting to do things the right way or "best" way but not actually taking the time to do them.

There are so many conflicting priorities such as:

• Wanting to control every line of text style and formatting on a page
• Having things be maintainable long term
• Actually understanding how the content system works
• Making things easy to host
• Having it look like something I would want to read
• Being proud of it
• Having personal style
• Being able to update things with ease

I suppose actually believing one has good content that can be put up the the scruitiny of the internet is hard.

This won't be the first post on my blog, but it may well be one of the most importannt in that it is the one that actually started it
